Volunteer Opportunities and Service Projects are a great way to help the community and get to know your DAR sisters as we work together.
For many years the Oregon Lewis and Clark chapter has wrapped gifts at Barnes and Noble during the holiday season. Members will wrap Barnes and Noble purchases for the store’s customers for donations.
On Saturday, Feb. 17, 2019 our chapter will once again work at the Oregon Asian Celebration. 2019 marks the 34th annual event and the theme of this, the Year of the Dog, is “Bark to the Future”. As in past years,our members will take cash and credit/debit cards at the registration tables at the main door. These fundraisers are a vital part of our chapter’s goals for the year. We will be donating to Chemawa Indian School, Veteran’s Legacy, the State Regent’s project and Children of the American Revolution, among other projects.
